UPDATE: The Ogle County Sheriff's department has indicated that Arthur Nelson, 63, and Teresa Nelson, 62, were those who died in the one car crash over the weekend.
Arthur was driving westbound on Route 72 when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree.
Police are still investigating the cause.
The Ogle County Sheriff's Department tells 23 News they are still investigating the crash, although most of the scene has been cleared for the night.
The one car accident happened at around 3 p.m. on Route 72 and Rothwell Road in Stillman Valley. Police are still trying to determine if the wreck was weather related.
Two people died in the crash, their names have not yet been released.
