DIXON (WIFR) -- New developments in an alleged teacher sex scandal out of Dixon. Police Chief Danny Langloss says at least one high level employee at the Viva Performing Arts School knew about the alleged abuse, but did not report it.

Earlier this month Vocal Instructor Robert Campbell, 31, was arrested after he was accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student.

Chief Langloss says that student told the school's Drama Director Tim Boles about the incident, but the student told him not to tell anyone. So Boles never reported it to police. Campbell is currently out of jail on bond awaiting trial.
