Cyclists Raise Money for Agriculture Education

WINNEBAGO (WIFR) -- This week dozens of cyclists are peddling for a purpose across Northern Illinois to raise money for education.

The 19th Annual Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom Bike Ride ended Wednesday in Winnebago. The three day journey took cyclists on country roads, as well as, the Jane Addams Trail.

They also made stops along the way at schools to talk with students about farming and how agriculture plays a roll in our everyday life.

The cyclists also talked to students about bike safety.
