DEKALB COUNTY (WIFR) -- A car crash in DeKalb County claims the life of a Cortland woman.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Department says shortly before 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday Jodine Gamble, 47, was heading east on Barber Greene Road when she lost control of her Oldsmobile Bravada near the intersection of Loves Road.

Gamble was ejected from the car when it overturned. Deputies say she was not wearing a seat belt.

The Sycamore Fire Department took Gamble to Kishwaukee Community Hospital were she was pronounced dead at 3:41 p.m. The accident is under investigation.
