BELVIDERE (WIFR) -- Parents in the Belvidere School District are continuing to voice their concerns about potential cuts and school closures to avoid a multi-million dollar projected deficit and the district is welcoming their opinions.
On Monday night, the community is invited to address board members at Belvidere North High School. They're asking for input on a handful of community suggestions that were presented at a January board meeting. Some of those suggestions include consolidating the two high schools and closing middle and elementary schools. The meeting starts at 6pm in the cafeteria.
