STEPHENSON COUNTY (WIFR) -- A person was rescued after the driver's car hydroplaned into a ditch due to standing water in Stephenson County.
According to the Stephenson County Sheriff's Office, they responded with the Lena Fire Department around 2:30 a.m. to Route 20 and West Dameier Road. The car was stuck in the ditchway with deep, fast moving water.
The driver was able to get out of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Boone and Winnebago counties until 8:30 a.m.
