ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A candlelight vigil was held Wednesday night for two brothers found dead in their apartment Friday night. They were James Gardner and James Hatchett.

Family members remember 43-year-old James Gardner and 39-year-old James Hatchett outside of the home where the victims were found dead.

Dozens of people gathered to light candles and pray for the family. Gardner and Hatchett were found in their apartment on Cunningham Friday night. According to the autopsy, both men were shot multiple times. Patrice Person is the daughter of James Gardner. She says she just wants to see her father's face again.

"It hurts because I'm pregnant with my second child and he will not be here to see his grandchild be born and that's wrong. They didn't deserve this. All I want, I just wish they could come back and they can't,” said Person.

Police say they haven't received any new information on the case.
