ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Good news ladies: a new study debunks the longstanding myth that boys are better than girls at math.

Researchers from the University of Wisconsin looked at data from dozens of countries to see why so few females were indentified as having a talent for math.

It turns out biology has nothing to do with it. Math achievement for both boys and girls tend to be higher in countries where gender equity is better.
