ROCKTON (WIFR) -- Dozens of Stateline companies were under one roof this weekend competing for our business.
More than 150 companies set up shop inside the Hononegah High School dome for this year's RoRo Expo. It's put on every year by the Rockton and Roscoe Chambers of Commerce.
The expo is a chance for shoppers to get a sample of dozens of businesses without having to drive from place to place. In this day and age of internet shopping, business owners say the face to face contact with customers is crucial.
"Offering them this wonderful venue and to bring in as many people as we possibly can really helps support business in the area and really just showcasing everything we have to offer," RoRo Expo Committee Chair Ryan Rydell, said.
About 7,500 people came to the expo this year.
