Beloit Police Say Stay Away from Flooded Waterways After Rescue

BELOIT, WI (WIFR) -- Beloit police are reminding people to stay away from flooded waterways after two people were rescued Tuesday.

The Beloit police department, Beloit fire department, South Beloit water rescue and Rock County Sheriff's Office deputies were sent to Turtle Creek Tuesday. Police say two people ended up in the water after their canoe capsized. Both were rescued.
