UPDATE (8/16/14) -- A Beloit man says hes responsible for causing a deadly hit-and-run crash.
Johnquayl Bell, 24, plead guilty Wednesday to reckless homicide. Police say in April 2013 he crashed into Cassondra Sympson at the intersection of Copeland and Tates Avenues in Beloit.
Bell will be sentenced on October 7, 2014.
BELOIT (WIFR) -- The Beloit Police Department has identified two individuals believed to be the occupants of the offending vehicle from Sunday’s fatality accident at Copeland and Yates Ave.
The two are cousins:
Johnquayl K. Bell, B/M, 04/03/1990 and Chatavier A. Bell-Johnson, B/M, 01/29/1996
Currently the Beloit Police Department is seeking these two individuals for questioning in regards to the accident.
They are both from Beloit but their current whereabouts are unknown. Additionally, they may be in need of medical treatment from the accident.
BELOIT (WIFR)-- A 21 year old woman, identified as Cassondra Sympson of Beloit, is dead after a rollover crash earlier on Sunday at the intersection of Copeland Ave. and Yates Ave. in Beloit.
Two children under the age of two were also injured but are expected to survive. Two people in another car involved in the crash fled the scene.
Police are trying to track them down.
Johnquayl Bell is wanted through the Rock County Sheriff’s Office on a Body Attachment for Non-Support and also a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant.
