DELTA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -- An Amtrak train heading from Chicago to Port Huron has struck a car near Lansing, and the passengers are being bused to their destinations.
An Eaton County Central Dispatch operator says the crash happened about 9:10 p.m. Thursday in Eaton County's Delta Township.
She says buses were taking the passengers to their destinations but says there was no other information immediately available.
An Amtrak reservations official says she was aware of the accident and that she had no other details. Amtrak police declined comment Thursday night.
