DEKALB (WIFR) -- Just after 7:00 a.m. this morning, an accident involving a school bus and truck occurred on Keslinger and Somonauk roads in DeKalb.

A bus carrying 8 students was heading westbound on Keslinger Road when it slid through the stop sign intersection of Keslinger and Somonauk. The bus hit a truck heading southbound on Somonauk Road.

Both the driver of truck and the bus driver were transported to Kishwaukee Community Hospital for unknown injuries. No students were injured in the accident.
