Airfest Preparations Underway
No lightning in the Stateline sky today but there was plenty of thunder early this afternoon as Airfest preparations got underway.

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The air force thunderbirds have made their way to RFD in preparations for this weekends Rockford Airfest 2010.
The headlining T-birds will end the day’s events both Saturday and Sunday. The thunderbird team consists of 12 officers and over 120 enlisted air force members who perform over 70 shows in 37 different stops throughout the year.
Airfest kicks off this Saturday at 10 in the morning.

It's great! I can stand in my backyard wearing nothing but a t-shirt and my underpanties and view them flying by my house. I throw my arms in the air and scream joys of happiness as they fly by my house. I love it... free entertainment right from my own home. They are beautiful flying by, especially in their formations. I look forward to viewing them a lot this weekend! =D
