Belvidere Police Need Your Help
The Belvidere police department is looking for information in connection to a gang related drive-by shooting.

BELVIDERE (WIFR) -- On Sunday, July 19th, 2010, at 9:45 pm, Belvidere police responded to a shooting in the 500 block of Starr Street.
Officers arrived and discovered that Zeshan Ahmed, 22, of poplar grove, Illinois had been shot in the leg. The victim, of was transported to St. Anthony’s hospital where he was treated and released.
A vehicle leaving the scene is described as a dark colored, possibly black Chevy s10 pick up truck with tinted windows. The vehicle was last seen driving west bound on Bypass 20 towards Rockford.
The investigation is on going and any additional information would be helpful.

I just don't understand why people have to shoot other people. It's stupid and evenutally they are going to get caught, so why do it?
o man i wish this was posted sooner i think i saw the vehicle driving down south man frantically trying to get out of the way of people weaving through traffic i thought he was a drunk man the man seemed to be either a Hispanic or black man all of the windows were tinted including the windshield.
