Memorial Service For Sisters Killed

A Memorial service was held at the Muslim Community Center this afternoon honoring 10 year old Jasmin, 15 year old Handie and 18 year old Maalie Al-Sadun.

The three were tragically killed Sunday afternoon in a head on collision in Lasalle County.

The sister's mother and five month old nephew are still recovering at a hospital in Peoria.

No word yet on the cause of the accident.

    My thoughts and prayers go out to this family as they grieve for their loved ones. My 5th grade son was in Jasmine's class in 2nd grade and he has had a difficult time dealing with the tragedy. Regardless to what the RR star had to say about the family, everyone should keep in mind the we all have hard times, but sometimes they are not publicized! To the remaining family, stay prayerful!
