The boil order remains in effect until the water department receives the results of microbiological samples to ensure the water is safe. Those results are expected sometime Friday.

Until then, the boil order is still in effect for a good portion of the downtown area.

The boundaries on the west side are from the city limits in the north to the city limits in the west and from the Rock River in the east to Harrison Avenue in the south. If you live on the east side, the boil order is from Guilford Road in the north to Harrison Avenue in the south and from the Rock River in the west to Fairview Boulevard in the east.
