DEKALB (WIFR) -- Nine Northern Illinois University employees have been charged with felonies for their alleged roles in the so-called "Coffee Fund". DeKalb County prosecutors say they sold $13,000 worth of scrap material and channeled the money to a secret bank account. They're also accused of stealing computer monitors. Most of the accused are department heads for materials management. Included in the group is a former associate vice president, who resigned in July.
