Deadly Hit & Run
A bicyclist was killed Thursday after investigators say he rode in front of a dark colored pickup. The driver of the truck, possibly a Chevrolet, sped off. It happened in McHenry County and the Sheriff's Office is offering a reward.

The crash happened Thursday, March 18th, 2010, close to 6:28 p.m. It happened on Maxon Road at Graf Road in unincorporated Harvard, IL.
The bike rider, 25 year old Christoper M. Schaaf of Harvard, was killed.
Investigators say Schaaf was riding north on Maxon Road when he failed to yield to a dark colored, full sized, pickup truck. It was reportedly a newer model, possibly a Chevrolet, long bed and a single, chrome exhaust pipe under the rear passenger side bumper. The truck was last seen westbound on Graf Road.
Report any information to McHenry County Crimestoppers at 1-800-763-STOP. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest.
