A Hall of Famer and former Chicago Bear stopped by Giovanni's last night, for a good cause.

Dan "Danimal" Hampton stopped by MELD's third annual Sports Celebrity Evening.

There was dinner and a live auction. All the proceeds for the event went to benefit support groups for young parents and MELD's homeless shelter.

Between raising money and mingling with guests, Hampton had some time to talk a little Bears football.

"The one point is we have to get better on both sides of the ball at the line of scrimmage," Hampton said. "I think a change in coaching on the offensive line will help an awful lot, so I think a lot of things have happened that will kind of create a catalyst, which will make the team better."
