A stateline shelter known for rebuilding lives is receiving a major office makeover.
Carpenter's Place in Rockford is currently furnished with some pretty dated furniture but today, a financial institution is donating a few coveted "hand-me-downs".Rockford's Morgan Stanley-Smith Barney is giving the charity "nearly-new" desks and chairs. The investment brokers are moving into a new building on Perryville and rather then sell the furniture.They decided to give to an organization in need.
