SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) -- Growing marijuana was apparently a family affair for one Sheboygan Falls family.
A man, his wife and 24-year-old son were charged yesterday with felony charges of marijuana manufacture and possession.
They are 53-year-old Fredric Walsh, 50-year-old Deborah Walsh, and son Joshua Walsh.
According to a criminal complaint, a raid of their home turned up nearly 100 plants as well as a stash with a street value of at least 100-thousand dollars.
Authorities had been tipped off anonymously about the operations.
A drug enforcement officer says the operations were very sophisticated. He says the family numbered and tracked individual seedlings, then moved plants to small plots hidden throughout 100 acres of adjoining cornfield.
