Ryan Said Release of Records "A New Low"

During an appearance on Chicago's WLS Radio Tuesday morning, Ryan said releasing such personal documents sets a new standard for would-be politicians, and he said he doesn't think that's "healthy for our democracy."

In the documents, the candidate's former wife, actress Jeri Ryan, accuses him of pressuring her to perform sex acts in clubs while others watched. She said she angered Ryan by refusing.

The documents also show that Jack Ryan denied the allegations, and Tuesday he said he didn't break any laws or his marriage vows.

The documents were released Monday after a judge in Los Angeles ordered portions of the records unsealed.
