A six-year-old girl with a big heart is making a difference for Haiti relief.

Corinne Glover-Brown offered 20 pairs of her own shoes for the Soles for Haiti benefit, said Courtnee Glover, her mother.

Glover said she suggested the girl search her closet for old shoes to donate.

"She ended up finding 20 pairs of shoes thus far and is still trying to find some more before tomorrow's deadline," Glover wrote to 23News.

Donations for gently-used shoes are still being accepted at all area Hilander grocery stores around the Rockford area.

That is really great that they did that. But, I have to wonder what six year old child needs 20 pair of shoes in the first place. Seriously? 20 pairs of shoes for a 6 year old?!
