United Airlines says it's back online after a computer glitch forced the airline to ground its entire fleet this morning.
The problem lasted for about two hours causing delays for travelers across the country. Flights at Chicago O'Hare were delayed between one and two hours.
There's no word on how many flights were disrupted, but the FAA says other airlines were not affected and the Rockford Airport wasn't really affected either despite United flights out of RFD today.
The united flight this afternoon from Denver into Rockford was only delayed by about 10 minutes and no planes from O'Hare were diverted to RFD because of back ups.
Whether you're flying out of RFD or especially O'Hare tonight it's always a good idea to call ahead and check departure times before heading to the airport.
