Cadbury Schweppes is parting with half its name and also with some of its workers but it looks like our local plant won't be affected.
The London based company announced yesterday that it will drop Schweppes from its name to focus only on candy and gum.
It also plans to reduce workers worldwide by 15% over the next 4 years but a spokesperson says changes probably won't be made at the Cadbury Adams Plant in Loves Park.
That plant is a lead producer of Trident, one of Cadbury's top three brands.
