They need that ammunition for officer training. Their supplier says a lot of merchandise is going to the U-S military right now in the Iraq War, leaving Freeport Police unsure about future practice drills. "Right now it's still in the works. I don't know what we're going to do. We don't have any ammo. We might have to substitute our training to more of tactics-based training," said Detective Steven Stovall. He says it could be at least another three months before new bullets arrive.
