Two houses in Rockford are condemned and now their owners are ordered to either clean up or get out.
Police and city inspectors say they found missing windows, dog feces, and abandoned cars at the two residences on South 3rd Street.
City officials say owners of the property will have 60 days to bring the homes to minimum standards. If they don't they'll be taken to court and face fines.
This effort is an attempt to clean up Rockford neighborhoods.
