Colorado Home to Marijuana Gourmet Restaurant
Denver Colorado is home to a gourmet restaurant with dishes like lasagna and jambalaya. They include a special ingredient. So not everyone can order off this menu.

"Do you have your medical marijuana card? That's the first thing we would ask," says Evan.
The restaurant is called Ganja Gourmet and the common ingredient found in all dishes is marijuana. Last year voters in Colorado legalized medical marijuana, and since then such establishments have been popping up all around town. The owner of Ganja Gourmet says other businesses are about getting people in and out. But, he wanted to create an atmosphere where people could hang out and enjoy the goods.
"Lasagna. Hummus and pita pizzas. But we also serve desserts like cheesecakes, brownies, and a New York treat we call Almond Horns which are fantastic," said Ganja Gourmet Pastry Chef Evan.
Prices at Ganja Gourmet are expensive. A brownie is ten dollars, and a dozen lemon meringue tartlets cost $125 bucks. But, without a medical marijuana card there will be no "bud" for you.
