Several people remain hospitalized after a Mutlicar accident in Rockford.
The accident happened just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday night at the intersection of Latham and North Main that send all six people in the two cars to the hospital.
Police say Earned Cehica was heading eastbound on Latham when he failed to yield to the stop sign, and started to go through the intersection without seeing that another care was coming.
The second car, driven by Teresa Riley who didn’t have a stop sign collided with the car driven by Cehica. All six people were taken to the hospital but their injuries are not considered to be life threatening at this time.
Cehica is being charged by police with failure to yield at the intersection and say he and his family members are lucky to be alive after what could have been a lot worse.
