Students Want Education Reform

Standing up for education and saying no to budget cuts students around the area push for funding reform in honor of education day.

High schoolers in the North Boone District gathered at the flagpole for see you at the flagpole for education day.

Students shared stories about how budget restrictions are affecting their education, urging legislators to come up with a better way to fund schools in Illinois.

Students at Guilford, Auburn, and Hononegah High Schools also gathered calling for a change.

    I believe that is true because you should go to school to learn and have fun with your friends. If you have to keep paying for stuff at school then people that don't want to go to school then there parents are you wasting there money because the kids that don't go to school are you wasting people's time. Thank you.
