Blagojevich Subpoena

CHICAGO (AP) -- A published report says federal prosecutors have subpoenaed records from Governor Rod Blagojevich's campaign fund.

The Chicago Tribune reports today that the subpoena is the latest move in a corruption investigation focusing on people involved in Blagojevich's campaign fund-raising.

The Tribune's report cites three unnamed law enforcement sources as saying that the subpoena for documents was issued in recent days and is a signal that the federal investigation is active.

Details about what records were being sought were not immediately known.

U-S attorney spokesman Randall Samborn did not confirm or deny the subpoena.

A spokeswoman for Blagojevich's office did not immediately return a message left by The Associated Press Wednesday morning.
