Chrysler Talks

Just 1 day after DaimlerChrysler announces it's sale of the struggling Chrysler unit, company leaders are talking jobs and cuts. Top management from both parties, Chrysler and new owner Ceberus Capital Management are meeting to convince union leaders the buyout will be good for workers but labor chiefs have mixed feelings about the plan.

The United Autoworkers President says the deal is in the best interest of it's membership while the Canadian Auto Workers President has concerns stressing many private equity firms have a history of slashing jobs to boost profits.
