Beef Recall

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) -- A meat company is recalling 129-thousand pounds of beef products in Illinois and 14 other states because of possible E-coli contamination.

The U-S Department of Agriculture says the meat products are made by Davis Creek Meats and Seafood for Gordon Food Service stores.

The beef products were made between March First and April 30th.

The items under recall include boxes of mechanically tenderized steaks and ground beef of different weights.

Symptoms of E-coli include stomach cramps and diarrhea. It sometimes can lead to complications including kidney failure.
