DeKALB, Ill. (AP) -- A DeKalb man faces charges in the fatal beating of a high school soccer coach.
Twenty-one year old Nathan Schrank has been charged with aggravated battery in the death of Luis Noriega.
Noriega was found injured outside a bar in DeKalb at two a-m Sunday. He was pronounced dead that afternoon at St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.
The 25-year-old from Elgin was a coach at Indian Creek High School in Shabbona.
Schrank is being held in lieu of 250-thousand dollars bail.
Authorities are investigating if further charges will be filed.
DeKalb Police Chief Bill Feithen says more arrests are pending.
