Police Car Hits Shrink Wrap

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (AP) -- Three teens are in trouble after a Mount Pleasant police car ran into the plastic shrink strung across a roadway from poles on each side.

The car received minor damage in that incident Wednesday ... and the officer gave chase when he saw a vehicle parked nearby drive away with its lights off.

He stopped the vehicle and found three juveniles inside, with a supply of the shrink wrap.

Authorities also found shrink wrap across streets in three other locations.

Now the teens are expected to face charges that include recklessly endangering safety.
