It's happened before, Chicken George Boswell paved the way for Rockford Big Brother contestants. Wednesday night, open casting calls gave anyone brave enough a shot to join the cast of this season's Big Brother.
Kryptonite at 308 W. State Street hosted the casting calls. Dozens of hopefulls, from as far away as Dayton, Ohio turned out to prove one thing, that they're just crazy enough to be on Big Brother.
All you've got to do is head to www.cbs.com, click on Big Brother application, print it out and start telling your life story. There is plenty of space to tell it because the application is 14 pages long. The bottom line is what makes you outrageous enough for Big Brother. Then you tape a 2 minute interview on why you should be picked and send all that off to the show's producers.
The producers will then pick forty semi-finalists from across the country and that will narrow down to the lucky 12. You should hear by May or June if you're a semi-finalist.
Applications are due April 13th. So hurry for your chance to live in a house with 11 strangers, do lots of crazy stuff and maybe, just maybe, win half a million dollars.
