Accused Drug Dealers Arrested
Two Rockford residents were arrested on drug charges after police say they found over 90 bags of pot in their home. Investigators say they also found two young children in the house, at 1216 Revell.

Members of the Rockford Police Department’s Narcotics Unit have been investigating the sale of cannabis which had been taking place at 1216 Revell. As a result of this investigation a search warrant was obtained and executed on 11/03/09 by the Rockford Police Department’s Narcotics Unit. Two adults and two young children were located inside the residence. During a search of the residence detectives located over 90 individual bags of cannabis. Detectives also located and recovered other items associated with drug trafficking as well as United States currency and ammunition. Both adults were lodged in the Winnebago County Jail.
Arrested: Ware, Freddie J. 31, Rockford
Charge: Possession with intent to deliver cannabis, Unlawful Use of Weapon by Felon, Endangering the health or life of a child, Criminal Fortification of residence.
Bond: To be set by Judge (Felony charge)
Arrested: Phillips, Gabrielle M. 19, Rockford
Charge: Possession with intent to deliver cannabis, Unlawful Use of Weapon (No F.O.I.D.), Endangering the health or life of a child, Criminal Fortification of residence.
Bond: To be set by Judge (Felony charge)
Both subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
