Scamming Women

CHICAGO (AP) -- A Chicago man who's accused of scamming women in Illinois and eight other states out of more than one million dollars has pleaded not guilty to check fraud.

Forty-two-year-old Hillard Jay Quint is charged with identity theft and four counts of deceptive practice.

Authorities allege he cashed 16-thousand dollars in checks written under the alias Matt Goldstein.

The disbarred lawyer was arrested in February.

Police say Quint dated at least eight women in Chicago and scammed three of them out of 24-thousand dollars. Authorities say he posed as a rich C-E-O from California to women he met online.

A police spokeswoman says authorities are still investigating the alleged fraud and more charges are possible.

This man is a sick twisted schmuck! He doesn't deserve to have a fair trial AT ALL - Don't drop the soap hillard quint. He didn't con me out of any money BUT what he did to me makes things even worse - He took me out on dates where he found my ad on Jdate about a year ago while living in Georgia. The mere fact that when he paid for our dinners, lunches etc it was stolen money - money that wasn't his! That's what makes me sick to this day! Then he made me feel like crap before he broke up with me - like it was my fault. He told me Atlanta is a small town. Compared to what? I'm from NYC so who knew what he meant by that!? You deserve to have your _ _ _ _ s removed Hillard Jay Quint. P. S. Don't drop the soap buddy.
