The Future Production of Chrysler Vehicles
While the other two U.S. auto-makers are celebrating the release of October sales numbers, Chrysler sales can still only be described as dismal.

Overall, Chrysler saw a 30 percent drop in sales from October of last year. The only other major car company to see a drop in sales was Honda at only 0.4 percent. This sobering news comes a day before fiat and Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne will map out the company's five year plan. National auto expert Jim McElroy tells 23News what he thinks will happen tomorrow and addresses the rumors that all three models made at the Belvidere plant will be axed.
"I would be surprised if any of the models would really survive in terms of what's being built in Belvidere right now. But it sounds to me like the Belvidere plant might end up building some of those vehicles. Chrysler's made it pretty clear that it's plant in Sterling Heights Michigan is going to close. The fact that Belvidere has not been announced as one that's going to close, sounds like good news to me," said McElroy.
As for the models made in Belvidere, Jeep Patriot sales are down 17 percent from September, while October saw it's second lowest total of Jeep Compasses sold and it's all time low in Caliber sales.
