Big news tonight for Chicago Tribune and baseball fans, a real estate king has bought the troubled company and plans on selling the Cubs.
Sam Zell will toss out 13 billion at a price of 34$ a share in order to take control of the newspaper publisher. Other then the Chicago Tribune, the company own the Los Angeles times, a bunch of TV stations, and the Chicago Cubs.
Tribune reps have said they plan on selling the cubs at the end of the season.
