An update on the national company looking to set up a distribution center in the stateline:

Lowe’s is looking to set up shop in Rockford, Beloit, Janesville or Dekalb. The development would mean 400-600 new jobs for our area.

City leaders in these communities remain tight-lipped about the deal, but John Beckord of Forward Janesville, Janesville's Chamber of Commerce, says the location for the project could be decided as early as next week.
