A Living Wage For All

The message is fairly simple, pay hard working men and women a fair wage, one where they can at the very least afford the necessities in life.

'A Living Wage For All' will be the topic of discussion tonight during a Rockford Peace and Justice meeting. It's estimated that a single parent, with two children, would need to make around $30,000 a year to survive above poverty levels and for many in our state that's not happening.

The discussion on A Living Wage starts tonight at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Turner Street in Rockford, the conversation begins at 7:30.
