A supposed good samaritan will spend the next 20-years in prison.
William Gianquinto pled guilty in Winnebago County court to two counts of burglary.
Gianquinto approached an elderly woman and a friend, convincing them there was a flat tire on their car. He offered to make the necessary repairs, and then stole their wallets.
At his sentencing Wednesday, Gianquinto was ordered to serve consecutive 20-year terms in state prison.
