It's a makeover no one could resist, and imagine having $5,000 to do it. Well, that's what happened Tuesday for Crusader Clinic.

Through a program sponsored by Ace Hardware, the clinic received $5,000 for a facelift. It's one of eight community places across America to receive an updated look as part of Ace's "New Faces for Helpful Places" program.

Crusader Clinic helps more than 36,000 Rockford residents a year with a variety of medical needs, and volunteers showed their appreciation by renovating the lobby and several exam rooms.
