Supreme Court Justice's Daughter In Trouble

WHEATON, Ill. (AP) -- The daughter of U-S Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia doesn't plan to fight an automatic six-month suspension of her drivers license.

That's the word from defense attorneys for Ann Banaszewski of Wheaton.

The 45-year-old was arrested last month and charged with driving under the influence and child endangerment.

Police say three children were in Banaszewski's minivan when she was stopped and refused to take a breath test for alcohol. A license suspension is automatic in such cases.

Banaszewski still faces trial on the drunken driving and child endangerment charges.

Scalia began serving on the Supreme Court in 1986. He has nine children.
