It's that time of year again, tax season, and as the deadline approaches, many taxpayers are turning to the Internet for help.
More than one million taxpayers have already filed their Illinois income tax returns electronically. That's the earliest Illinois has reached that milestone.
The number of people using the department's free Internet filing program, or I-File, is up 60 percent.
