Some of us may think of it as a type of bullying, that is, getting hundreds of unwanted e-mails.
One group is not taking it anymore. The major Internet providers are teaming up against spam. They're filing lawsuits against hundreds of people accused of sending millions of unwanted e-mails in violation of a new federal law.
Microsoft, Yahoo, AOL and Earthlink are filing suits. The companies say the defendants include some of the nation's most notorious large-scale spammers.
