Winnebago Co. Motorcycle Crash Victim Identified
The identity and condition of a motorcyclist severely injured in a weekend crash has been released.

52-year old Kevin Paulson of Rockford, is in critical condition at Rockford Memorial Hospital. The extent of Paulson's injuries resulted in him being air-lifted to emergency care.
The accident happened Sunday afternoon around 2 p.m., along U.S. 20 just east of Pecatonica Road. According to Illinois State Police, Paulson was heading east-bound when he slammed his brakes quickly to avoid hitting a car. He avoided that collision, but instead crashed into the median. There were no other vehicles involved in the crash and the cause is still being investigated. Paulson was not wearing a helmet.
