In another industry the signs of the economic problems continue to grow....in the area of home-building.. after a local bank files a foreclosure suit against a major local development company and home builder.
Alpine Bank has filed the lawsuit against Eagleland Development Company and Dan Hauser Construction .. the lawsuit claims Eagleland defaulted on an over three million dollar loan ... Taken out to build this subdivision on Owens center road north of Rockford in 2007... Alpine Bank wants Eagleland to pay it nearly five million dollars for loan, fees, and its costs. Dan Hauser is a part if the suit because that company built the homes in the subdivision.
We did speak with Dan Hauser on the phone this morning.. but he would not comment on the suit . Eagleland Development and Alpine Bank also had no comment

Didn't Dan Hauser recently go out of business? They have no website and none of the advertised numbers work.
Paul Glendenning and Dan Hauser are Bar owners now (Captains Pub) can't they go after the bar to help pay what these guys owe.
From the picture of the complaint, it looks like this suit is really against Dan Hauser and his companies, but our homeowners association and Redington Chase homeowners association are also named. He still controls these! he also owns both of the other companies named. I'm worried what we may be liable for as homeowners in both of these subdivisions. He'll never pay.
